CPM machine rental in Zagreb
A machine that moves your knee for you in the weeks after surgery, delivered and set up at your address in Zagreb.
What a CPM machine does
CPM stands for continuous passive motion. The knee rests in a cradle and the machine bends and straightens it slowly through a range you set, without you contracting anything. It is used in the first weeks after knee surgery, when regaining range of movement is the priority and the joint stiffens quickly if left still.
Typical use is three to four times a day for twenty to thirty minutes, most often for two to six weeks depending on the procedure and what your surgeon advises.
What the rental includes
Delivery to your address in Zagreb, setup, and a demonstration of how to use it and how to adjust the range as you progress. Support is available while you have the machine. Rental starts at 10 EUR per day, from 140 EUR per week or 300 EUR per month, depending on the model.
Ranges are set to what your surgeon has allowed. We do not push past a documented restriction, and if you have no written protocol we will ask you to get one.
It is not the whole rehabilitation
A CPM machine maintains range. It does not build strength, because you are not contracting anything while it runs. Quadriceps strength after knee surgery is what determines whether you climb stairs normally a year later, and that only comes from active work.
Most people use the machine alongside physical therapy rather than instead of it.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does it cost?
- Rental starts at 10 EUR per day, with weekly rates from 140 EUR and monthly from 300 EUR, depending on the model. Delivery and setup in Zagreb are included.
- How long will I need it?
- Commonly two to six weeks, depending on the procedure and how your range is progressing. Your surgeon's protocol is the reference.
- Do I need a prescription?
- No. But bring or show us your discharge letter or surgical protocol, because it tells us what range of movement is permitted and when.
- Does it replace physical therapy?
- No. It maintains range; it builds no strength at all, since the movement is passive. Strength is what decides your result a year later.
