What the price includes
A physical therapy session covers the assessment, the treatment itself and the exercises you take home. You are treated by a licensed physiotherapist for the whole session, not handed over to a machine halfway through.
Dry needling, cupping and taping are listed separately because they can be booked on their own. When they are part of a physical therapy plan, they are already included in the physical therapy price.
Home visits
We also treat at your home address within the city of Zagreb. Home visit rates are separate and higher than clinic rates, because they are not a surcharge on the list above. Call us for the current home visit price for your service.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a referral?
- No. VALENS Medical is a private clinic, so you can book directly without a referral from your GP and without waiting lists.
- Does health insurance cover the treatment?
- Croatian public health insurance (HZZO) does not cover treatment at private clinics. Some supplementary and private insurance policies reimburse part of the cost. Ask us for an itemised receipt and check with your insurer.
- How many sessions will I need?
- It depends on the condition. Acute muscle tension usually settles in 3 to 5 sessions. Chronic conditions and post-operative rehabilitation typically need 8 to 12 sessions combined with a home exercise programme. You get a plan after the first assessment.
- Can I pay by card?
- Yes, we accept cards and cash. If you need an invoice for your employer or insurer, tell us before payment.
