Therapeutic exercise in Zagreb
The part of treatment that decides whether the improvement survives past the end of the session.
In short
This is delivered inside a physical therapy session, which costs 70 EUR and lasts 45 to 60 minutes including the assessment. Full list on the pricing page.
Why exercise is the treatment, not the homework
Hands-on work changes how tissue feels and moves for a while. Load is what changes what it can tolerate. Tendons, muscle and bone adapt to demand, and nothing else on the menu produces that adaptation.
So the exercises are not an afterthought handed over at the door. They are chosen from what your assessment showed, dosed to a specific number of sets and repetitions, and progressed when you have earned it.
What you actually get
A small number of exercises, usually three to five, that you can do in the time you actually have. Written in English, with the load and frequency stated, and a clear rule for what a normal amount of discomfort is and when to stop.
A programme with fifteen exercises is a programme nobody does.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I just get a plan without appointments?
- A plan is only as good as the assessment it came from. The first appointment establishes what is limiting you; after that, follow-ups can be spaced widely if you are progressing.
- Should the exercises hurt?
- Mild discomfort during and shortly after is acceptable for most rehabilitation. Pain that increases over the following day, or that changes how you move, means the dose was too high and needs adjusting.
- How long until I feel a change?
- Symptoms often ease within two to three weeks. Actual strength changes take longer, six to twelve weeks, which is why programmes are not finished when the pain stops.
- Do I need a gym?
- Usually not. Most programmes start with body weight and simple equipment at home, and move to a gym only if the goal requires it.
